Rice Cooker for Sous Vide - What To Look For?

In the Sous Vide Equipment Forum
I have done a few things sous vide in my slow cooker however I am getting a temperature range of about 3 degrees so I am looking to upgrade to a rice cooker instead. What should I be looking out for? I know it needs to be manual but is there anything else? Basically what I have already done is bought a rice cooker which has a manual switch on the front, cook or warm. I tested it last night and it worked for a while but after say 20 mins it went to warm and this wasn't getting to the correct temperature any more. So I wonder is this the wrong type of rice cooker?

Thanks

I would probably email Frank from Sous Vide Magic, he could probably help you identify what is wrong or how to fix it. You can reach him here:
