Food Saver Bags

Good Morning all;

I started looking at SousVide in order to cook a large number of steaks ready at the same time.

IS there any reason to not use food saver bag, I would use just enough vacuum to extract air. My DSV will be in this week!

Foodsaver bags work really well, you shouldn't have any problems using them.
I use a zip lock bag and a sturdy straw. It takes a little practice, but soon you'll get an airtight seal.

I recently did 2 articles on sealing. One on using ziplocs with sous vide and a general guide to sealing food for sous vide. Maybe one of those will be helpful as well.
