Sous vide is a great technique to ensure tender, evenly cooked beans that don't burst during the cooking process. These are great in a variety of dishes, blended into a dip, or just eaten on their own.

Ingredients for Sous Vide Great Northern Beans

    250 gm Great northern beans
  • 500 ml chicken stock

Cooking Instructions for Sous Vide Great Northern Beans

Soak the beans in water overnight, then discard water and rinse beans. Pick out any bad ones. Vacuum seal the beans with stock and cook sous vide for 4 hours @ 90C.
