About Barbara Hobart

Barbara Hobart is a television writer/producer who has also been manufacturing and developing products since 1994. (She invented and introduced the first injection-molded decorative light switch cover to the UK.) She expanded her company, HomePlates Worldwide, and now consults with companies large and small to help strengthen brand identities and awareness through custom products. Clients include: Laura Ashley, British Home Stores, John Lewis Department Store, House of Blues, The Coca Cola Company, Netflix, Opry Entertainment, Blake Shelton, Organic Girl, Gifford's Ice Cream, and many more.

In addition to creating products for others, she inadvertently became a food blogger when she created a new line of products for the home chef. Instant PotLuckTM features recipes, accessories, and the occasional passive/aggressive cooking tips from her mother, Bernice. In May 2019, she created Best Ever Backdrops, a line of waterproof, stain-resistant, lightweight backdrops for bloggers, stylists, and photographers because she was tired of watching her photographer friends lift massive chunks of marble and slabs of wood. In October 2019, she launched Private Label Brand Academy and teaches businesses and individuals how to generate revenue and promote themselves by creating their own line of custom products.
